Located on a charming block in Manhattan’s funky West Village, Integral Yoga offers NYC yoga teacher training programs for all levels. It offers a vast selection of retail that ranges from books to mats. It is also has it’s its own natural food store, which has earned rave reviews within its community. Integral Yoga Wellness Spa just celebrated its grand opening, and it offers bodywork and emphasizes holistic therapies.
Integral’s 200 Hr teacher training is Yoga Alliance approved. It can be taken as a three-days/week course over several months, or as a month-long intensive. A highlight of the New York yoga teacher training is that it includes yogic diet and nutrition in its curriculum. Integral has been training teachers for over 25 years, and its particular Hatha style is registered and trademarked. Kali Morse, E.-R.Y.T. 500, R.P.Y.T. acts as teacher training program director and teaches both programs. Dianne (Rashmi) Galliano, E.-R.Y.T. 500 also teaches.
Integral also has prenatal and meditation trainings, both eligible for certification through Yoga Alliance. There are many guest workshops throughout the year that count for Yoga Alliance continuing education hours. These workshops range from Thai Yoga Massage to Yoga For Arthritis, and the teachers are highly qualified and recommended.

OM Yoga is one of the premier studios in New York City offering yoga teacher training programs. It’s known for both its rigor and excellence. Its owner Cyndi Lee’s name might sound familiar, as she is a regular contributor to Yoga Journal.
Om Yoga offers its 200 Hr Yoga Alliance approved NYC teacher training program as two ten-day intensives. It emphasizes teaching from day one, as students lead others in sun salutations and asanas from the time that they learn them. The program is broken down into eight parts, each which presents a unique approach to its corresponding material.
OM Yoga also offers a 500 Hr Advanced teacher training. However, instead of combining it into larger modules, as many studios do, it allows students to combine certain continuing education classes (they offer many throughout the year) to get their certificate for 500 Hr RYT and their hours. Interestingly, you don’t have to take the classes in a particular order, you can do them at any time you want (when the courses are being offered), and there is no time limit to complete the courses. The continuing education classes can be taken independently of the 500 Hr training, and are great options to fulfill Yoga Alliance’s requirements for CE hours.
