Looking for a registered yoga school(RYS) for your next yoga teacher training? On this page you will find links to schools who have been accredited by an organization by the name of the Yoga Alliance who helps to set standards for schools who need to meet a specific set of criteria if they want to offer a teacher training that is approved by them. If their teacher training curriculum is approved, then this school is allowed to become a registered yoga school with their organization.
It is important to bare in mind that by taking your training with a registered yoga school does not necessarily mean that you automatically become a registered yoga teacher (RYT.) You are still required to apply with their organization and pay the associated fees. While there is a great debate happening on whether there are any benefits to joining the Yoga Alliance, it is important that if you do want to teach professionally that you at least do some research into their organization and see how it may or may not impact your ability to teach in some studios. Many yoga studios only accept teachers who have a yoga certification with a registered yoga school so just be aware of this requirement before you proceed.
