How I Found My Life Coach To Help Me

It’s the job of a coach to help their clients make better life decisions. He helps them discover their true potentials and work with them to achieve their goals in life. They conduct life coaching sessions to build their clients for the task of taking charge of their lives creatively.

Although finding a life coach is easy, but I wouldn’t say every life coach is worth your time. The reason is that, like other professions, they also specialize in different areas of life coaching. You won’t get an accountant to do the job of an attorney unless you are ready for the jail.

In my case, I needed to build my means of livelihood. I have been working the same job for years with nothing to show for it. I felt empty and dispirited; I felt drowning! I met a colleague who has been using a life coach for some time, and we got talking about life coaching. She said that life coaches specialize in different areas of life. Her counsel became my road map to getting the help I needed.

I needed support to change my life for the better in my relationship, work life, finance, and personal development. Putting all these together, here’s how I got my life coach:

1. Identify your area of need. Knowing what you want to achieve first is the best way to find the right coach. I spent some time to harmonize my thoughts on what I wanted.

2. How much can I afford? Life coaches are professionals; they need income from their services to meet personal and business expenses. They charge anything from $200 to $2000. Therefore, I thought of how much I can afford and raised the money.

3. Who would I like to work with? I have always known that in one-on-one training, personality matters; life coaching is such an instance! Your life coach may be the best in the field, but if his personality doesn’t flow with yours, there would be trouble. For me, I needed someone who’s cool-headed and willing to be on my case until I succeed. It’s a life issue, and I needed someone who has the passion mixed with compassion to deliver excellent life coaching session for me; I got it!

4. What time can I commit? To succeed with a life coaching, you need to invest your time. I decided I could spare three times a week for my session.

Your cooperation as a client is highly required; only a willing client can make life coaching successful!
