Gaia Flow presents a warm atmosphere with locations in Dallas and Addison, Texas. Their brand of yoga, also called Gaia Flow, has three components, each which manifests itself in it’s own class. The first, Ocean Practice, is a dynamic high intensity interval training practice that cycles elements of a Vinyasa flow class. The second, Mountain Practice, is power-based. The third, Desert Practice, emphasizes flexibility and detoxification. Taking all three classes will help you to become a balanced and powerful yogi. The studio also offers Gentle Waves, which is healing and meditative, and Weekend Warrior, which is intense hot yoga. Gaia Flow says that their yoga is love-based, and seeks to present an ancient form to the modern yogi.
Like their yoga, Gaia Flow also describes their 200 Hr Yoga Alliance approved Dallas yoga teacher training as love-based. The training can be completed in one of two formats: ten weekend intensive or two week intensive. The former meets Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm-6pm for ten consecutive weekends. The latter is seventeen consecutive days from 10am-6pm on the weekends and 7:15am-4:15pm on the weekdays. Both programs cost the same amount. The studio also offers payment plans that range from three to eight months.
Gaia Flow’s teacher training is limits its number of accepted students to 25 in order to ensure that each trainee gets individualized attention. Trainees can expect a well-rounded education where they delve deeply into fundamental aspects of yoga. The curriculum (as per Yoga Alliance’s standards) includes anatomy, methodology, yoga philosophy, and simulated classes where they teach and assist each other. The training seeks to provide a life-transforming experience where you will find yourself in the best shape of your life, physically and mentally.
