ABOUT

Yoga teaching at Whole Yoga is inspired by Shambhava Yoga® and is based on the principle: Hatha Yoga(Asanas) prepares the physical body and the mind for the practice of meditation.

Our yoga students have discovered that…
• Learning to apply meditation principles brings greater clarity, simplicity and depth to yoga practice and teaching.
• Our program allows the time necessary to learn, practice and integrate the complex array of skills required to be a teacher of the highest standard. Whole Yoga’s Level 1 HYTT is 200+ hours.
• Our approach is deeply reflective and student centered.
• With this approach, you will learn to respond to and teach each individual student.
• Having access to yoga communities such at Eldorado Mt. Yoga Ashram and Shoshoni Yoga Retreat is a great value.

We believe that yoga teacher training should be a life-changing experience. Shambhava Yoga® has always emphasized that becoming a great teacher means becoming a great student. You don’t just learn how to teach yoga here, you learn how to deepen your own practice and grow.

TEACHERS

Susan Bhat E-RYT-500 – Susan has been a devoted practitioner of yoga, meditation, and chanting since May 1, 2009. She delights in bringing new perspectives to her own practice by studying a wide variety of styles, but the Shambhava Tradition, and Whole Yoga in particular, has her whole heart. She has gained much from being a part of the Whole Yoga community, and is deeply grateful to her teachers and to the students who teach her at least as much as she teaches them. Susan’s classes are lighthearted and relaxing, and she enjoys sharing poses, stories, pranayama, and thoughts that are inspiring her own practice. She particularly loves teaching her Thursday night class, which she has done since June 2011.
